The 1st AALA Conference is jointly organized by the Institute of Applied Linguistics, Zhejiang University, and Asian Association of Language Assessment (AALA). It aims to provide a platform for academics and language assessment professionals to discuss and review various issues related to language assessment in Asia.

We have arranged special prices for participants of the inaugural conference of AALA in Hangzhou Jinxi Hotel. Participants are suggested to book the accommodation as early as possible, as we expect hotel space at special prices to be at a premium. To book, please send an email to msc@zju.edu.cn before Sept. 30th, 2014, stating your date of arrival and departure, the type of the room you’d like to reserve, and whether you’d like to share rooms with others.

 

Room rate for conference attendees:

Standard Room (Double Room):

590 CNY per room per night

 

Luxury Single Room:

698 CNY per room per night

 

Note: Prices may vary slightly according to season. Breakfast, 40 CNY per person, isn’t included.

 

 

Conference Registration

All participants including all presenters must register for the conference. On-site registration will be open in the lobby of Jinxi Hotel from 10am to 6pm on October 18, 2014.
